Ship Your Machine

Pack your typewriter carefully and ship it to our workshop in Portland, Oregon. We provide detailed packing instructions below.

Within 3 business days of receiving your machine, we send a full written assessment and a fixed-price repair quote. No surprises.

Expert Restoration

Once you approve the quote, our technicians get to work. Most repairs take 2–3 weeks. We photograph every stage of the process.

Every machine is typed on for at least 500 keystrokes before it ships back. You receive a full service report with your typewriter.

Shipping Instructions

How to Pack Your Typewriter

Remove the ribbon and any paper from the machine.

Wrap the typewriter in at least 3 inches of bubble wrap on all sides. Pay special attention to the carriage and keys.

Place in a sturdy double-walled box with additional packing material to prevent any movement.

Insure the shipment for the full value of the machine. We recommend UPS or FedEx with signature required.

Include your name, email, and a brief description of the issue inside the box.
